Tracy has had extensive training in the entertainment business. As a child she studied jazz and tap in Montreal, Canada for several years before becoming a ballet and tap instructor for toddlers.
She then joined the prestigious musical theatre company “Children’s Creations” based in Montreal and Toronto. Tracy performed alongside actors who would eventually star in the films X-Men and 300.
While there Tracy performed in over 20 Musicals, two of which she choreographed and one of which she co-wrote.
She toured the US and Canada with the company and also recorded a live album. Upon moving to Boston, Tracy continued her extensive training in Dance, Acting and Voice. She continued her vocal training and was a member of the Boston based all girls pop group "Novelty".
For two years she studied Hip Hop at the prestigious Jeanette Neill Dance Studio in Boston.
Tracy was then selected from over one hundred dancers in an open call audition to be a regular on MTV's popular TV show “Club MTV” In New York City and was a cast member until the show ended in 1993.
Tracy is currently a member of Boston Casting and CP Casting where she took several acting classes. She appeared in two national television commercials and has been an extra in several major films including Fever Pitch with Jimmy Fallon, The Fighter and Ted with Mark Wahlberg, The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington and most recently “Joy” starring Robert DeNiro and Jennifer Lawrence.
Tracy returned to teaching in 2007 and taught competitive Jr. & Sr. Hip Hop, Lyrical and Musical Theater where her Musical Theater Team's performance of "Hairspray" won Platinum and highest overall score.
She has done extensive voiceover work for several Boston radio stations and was a vocal instructor, performance and acting coach for seven years. One of Tracy's former vocal students is Kara Hayward star of the Oscar nominated films "Moonrise Kingdom" and "Manchester by the Sea".
Throughout this, Tracy maintained steady employment working in the Music Industry for Capitol Records and working in the radio business in Boston.
Allie Hepple is a fourth year student pursuing a career in dance and dance education in the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She grew up in a small town in Connecticut and fell in love with dance at a young age. Allie later went on to attend an arts high school in Hartford, CT, where she had the opportunity to work with artists such as Kim Stroud of the Martha Graham Company as well as Caroline Fermin, who is a part of the Gallim Dance Company. Allie really enjoys learning and taking class, and is excited to continue to grow as a student, artist and teacher!
Julia has been dancing the last 10 years, training in ballet, modern, lyrical, pointe, musical theater, and tap. The first seven years of her training were at Dream Dance Studio in Ledgewood, NJ. While she danced there, she student taught ballet, and competition tap teams. At the same time, for three years she participated in the advanced dance program at Roxbury High School, performing in the annual dance concert and annual spring musical. Currently, she is a senior at Georgian Court University with a double major in dance performance and general psychology, and a minor in dance therapy. Since she started college, she has worked with choreographers such as Beau Hancock, Silvana Cardell, Hee Ra Yoo, Steve Vaughn, and Charles Anderson. In 2015, she performed with the Yoo and Dancers modern dance company at the MMAC in the 2015 Choreographer’s Canvas. She has also performed at the American College Dance Festival. Julia looks forward to sharing her passion for dance and beginning her career as a dance teacher at the Dance Expo.
Megan began dancing at the age of three at Absolute Dance Co. in Monroe Township, NJ. Her training throughout her dancing career consists of Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, and Pointe. At the age of 12 she joined the studio competition team and has won many high score awards and overall awards. She has attended many workshops such as PULSE! Megan graduated from Monmouth University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and is continuing on to obtain her Master’s Degree in social work at Monmouth University. Dance has always been an important part of Megan’s life and she is excited to share her excitement with her students!
Kaila has been dancing for 16 years and studied various styles such as ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, musical theater, hip-hop, jazz funk, tap and aerial silks. She started to compete at the age of 8 and has been part of numerous high scoring routines and title winnings. While attending NYCDA, Tremaine, JUMP, and NUVO conventions she has won scholarships. Kaila also attended a specialized learning program known as FPAC (Fine and Performing Arts Center) at Howell High School for her entire high school career. While in this program she had performed numerous times and had the lead in the ballet variation of Raymonda. Now Kaila attends Georgian Court University as a dance major with a minor in accounting and has received the highest scholarship in the dance department.
At age two Dana started her dance training at Stage Door Dance Studio in Jamesburg, NJ. Her training consists of various styles of dance such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, and pointe. She began dancing competitively when she was seven years old. Throughout her competition career Dana has won many high score awards, overall awards, and special awards. She was a part of National Dance Showcase's Star Champion group as well at Ticket to Broadway's Circle of Stars. She has attended many workshops such as the PULSE and has taken classes with Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Dylan Smith, and more! Dana now attends Rutgers University/Mason Gross School of the Arts where she is earning her Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Dietetics and a minor in Dance. Since her first semester at Rutgers, Dana has been a part of the Rutgers Performing Dance Company; a student-run company performing annual winter and spring showcases. She is also a choreographer for the company, choreographing contemporary/modern pieces. Dana has always had a passion for dance and is excited to share her love for the art with her students!
Jayme Schlesinger has been dancing since the age of four. As she grew up, she continued her training in all styles of Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Tap, Salsa and Theatre. As a member of Beat Club Crew, she has had the opportunity to work with current pop artists including Nikki Minaj and Chris Brown and perform at multiple venues in Manhattan. She has spent time studying Ballet and Hip Hop in Paris, France and has since returned to the New York area to continue her training and further pursue her dance career
Alex began dancing at the age of three at Stage Door Dance Studio in Jamesburg NJ. By the age of eight she began dancing with the studio's Footlights Dance Company, which competed at both regional and national dance competitions and she also danced at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Alex has performed in several productions of "The Nutcracker" with the Shore Ballet Company. In 2007, while working on a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurship from Pace University, Alex began teaching for The Dancer's Edge as well as choreographed dances for the studio's competition team. Dance has always been a passion for Alex and she is excited to continue to share this passion with her students.
Robin began as a Dance Spectrums student when she was 9.. she left to attend the Philadelphia School of Performing Arts and Mason Gross in New Brunswick, NJ. In 1987 she returned as a full time teacher, teaching Intro to Dance, Kindergarten Dance, Jazz, and Lyrical. Her "Party Central" parties are the BEST!!!
